v1.3.8 Is Live

HALO Maximizer v1.3.8 is now available on the Chrome Web Store.

This release is focused on making the Pinterest workflow usable, accurate, and release-ready across the extension and website.

What's New in v1.3.8

1) Free Users Can Start Pinterest Without Upgrading First

Free users can now:

  • Connect Pinterest during onboarding
  • Run Video Scout
  • Schedule 1 suggested pin per day

This gives new users a real Pinterest workflow instead of a dead-end upsell.

2) Basic Gets 2 Pinterest Video Pins Per Day

Basic now supports 2 Pinterest video pins per day.

This creates a cleaner progression:

  • Free: 1 scheduled suggested pin/day
  • Basic: 2 video pins/day
  • Pro / Max: higher daily limits and broader control

3) Pinterest Onboarding Now Advances Correctly

The storefront onboarding flow now moves from:

  • Connect Pinterest

into:

  • board selection
  • affiliate tag selection

without getting stuck on the connect step after OAuth returns.

4) Scheduled Pins Now Show Up Correctly

v1.3.8 fixes several queue and UI consistency issues around scheduled pins:

  • Scheduled counts stay in sync with the live server queue
  • Pin Scout shows scheduled rows more reliably
  • Scheduled fallback rows now display the real video thumbnail instead of a generic placeholder when available

5) Safer Pinterest Auth Handoff

The extension-to-website Pinterest auth flow now uses a signed handoff instead of exposing raw extension credentials in the URL.

That reduces credential leakage risk through browser history, copied URLs, screenshots, and logs.

Why This Release Matters

Pinterest is no longer just a high-tier add-on. The workflow now starts earlier, explains itself better, and behaves more predictably:

  • onboarding continues instead of stalling
  • scheduled pins show up where users expect them
  • Free and Basic can test the workflow with real limits
